AVer launches 4K/60 AI-tracking PTZ camera with NDI at NAB 2026

AVer Information is showing the TR615 and PTZ231 PTZ cameras at NAB 2026 (booth N2161), exhibiting in partnership with NDI and bundling NDI licenses at no additional charge across its full Pro AV camera line.

The TR615 is the flagship: 4K at 60fps using a 1-inch Sony Exmor RS CMOS sensor with 19x optical zoom, dual 12G-SDI output, and Genlock support for frame-locked multi-camera setups. AI tracking runs in three modes — Presenter (follows a single speaker), Zone (stays within a defined area), and Hybrid (balances subject and scene). NDI HX3 is the transport protocol. The PTZ231 is a 1080p companion model with 30x optical zoom targeting tighter budget workflows.

Including NDI licenses in the base price is notable: competing PTZ lines frequently charge for NDI as a software add-on or require a separate dongle. "It's about making video workflows more adaptable so teams can integrate AVer cameras into their existing systems without needing to rethink their entire setup," said Katie Sullivan, Senior Product Manager, AVer USA. The TR615 specification positions it in the segment between broadcast-grade robotic cameras and enterprise AV PTZs — a category seeing increased interest from live event and house-of-worship production teams moving to IP workflows.
