Bolin Technology launches all-weather PTZ, broadcast camera, and AI controller

Bolin Technology announced three products at NAB 2026: the Range all-weather PTZ, the R9-L420N broadcast camera, and the KBD Plus controller.

The Range is IP65-rated for indoor and outdoor deployment. It delivers 4K at 60 fps via a 1/1.8-inch Sony sensor with 25x optical zoom, pans and tilts at up to 300 degrees per second, and outputs simultaneously over 12G-SDI, HDMI 2.0, USB-C, and IP with NDI, SRT, RTMP, and RTSP support. The R9-L420N uses a larger 1-inch sensor for 4K60 and slow-motion 1080p at 120 fps. It adds dual 12G-SDI outputs, optical SDI, LTC timecode, and Genlock for synchronized multi-camera environments — features aimed at live broadcast and sports production rather than conferencing.

The KBD Plus controller adds a 4-inch LCD touch display that decodes up to four simultaneous IP camera feeds, giving operators a local preview without a separate monitor. Bolin has flagged AI-based subject tracking as a planned future software update for the controller.

The three products extend Bolin's existing PTZ line into weather-hardened and broadcast-synchronized territory, areas where the company has previously competed primarily on price against larger Japanese and European manufacturers.
