Calrec Argo M brings ST 2110 audio console in three scalable fader footprints
Calrec is showing the Argo M at NAB 2026, a new IP-native broadcast audio console that integrates ST 2110 natively and is available in 24-, 36-, or 48-fader configurations. The three footprint options allow facilities to match the surface size to the scale of their production without committing to a single hardware configuration across venues or use cases.
The Argo M features touchscreen control and builds on Calrec's established Argo platform architecture. It is designed as a standalone surface for facilities seeking a physical IP-native console rather than a software-defined or cloud-connected audio chain. This differentiates the Argo M from the ImPulseV virtual DSP software that Calrec separately integrates with Grass Valley AMPP — the two products address different points in the hardware-to-software transition that broadcast audio facilities are navigating.
The launch reflects consistent demand from broadcasters that want ST 2110 compatibility in a conventional mixing surface form factor. As IP infrastructure penetration deepens across the broadcast segment, consoles that treat ST 2110 as a native transport rather than a conversion layer reduce the integration overhead for facilities already running IP video infrastructure.
