EVS debuts T-Motion unified robotics platform spanning six systems at NAB
EVS is debuting T-Motion at NAB 2026 (Booth N1841), a unified media production robotics platform built on its acquisitions of Telemetrics and XD Motion. The lineup spans six distinct systems: the Arcam six-axis camera arm, OmniGlide roving platform, Telescope robotic jib, TeleGlide track system, Televator elevating pedestal, and XFly cablecam.
The common thread across all six is a new unified orchestration layer that integrates T-Motion directly into EVS's live production ecosystem. From the same control environment, operators can manage robotic camera moves alongside EVS AI tools — including XtraMotion slow-motion and Xeebra Virtual Offside Line for sports officiating — and the VIA MAP media asset platform. The integration positions T-Motion not as a standalone robotics offering but as a layer in a full-stack live sports production infrastructure.
T-Motion consolidates hardware and workflow control that previously required separate vendor relationships. For broadcasters operating in multi-camera sports environments, the benefit is a single orchestration point across robotics, live production, and AI-powered replay — reducing integration overhead and operator training requirements.
