FOR-A GoVertical AiDi real-time 9:16 autocropping demo
FOR-A

FOR-A GoVertical AiDi ships to NBC Sports with on-device 9:16 autocrop

FOR-A America is showcasing GoVertical! AiDi at NAB 2026 (Booth C4920), a system that converts 16:9 broadcast video into 9:16 format for live mobile streaming without a cloud round-trip. The product runs entirely on-device, powered by NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 and RTX 5070 Ti GPUs, and is now in commercial production at NBC Sports — its first live-broadcast deployment.

The absence of cloud dependency is the core technical claim. Autocrop decisions are made locally, eliminating the latency introduced by sending frames offsite and waiting for a response. That architecture matters for live sports, where framing delays visible to mobile viewers are a quality problem.

FOR-A is also showing viztrick AiDi — developed by Nippon TV — alongside GoVertical. It adds real-time player tracking, face tagging, object recognition, 2.5D telestration, auto-score graphics, and motion data analytics, all on-device. NAB 2026 is the first show FOR-A has dedicated entirely to software-defined and AI-driven solutions.

"GoVertical! AiDi instantly unlocks revenue streams with mobile phone viewers. There is virtually no delay with GoVertical! AiDi, and no need to connect to the internet or the cloud," said Satoshi Kanemura, FOR-A America President and COO.
