Insta360 previews Luna Series cameras co-engineered with Leica at NAB

Insta360 used NAB Show 2026's first floor day to preview the Luna Series, a new camera line developed in collaboration with Leica. Two models were shown: the Luna Pro, a single-lens camera, and the Luna Ultra, a dual-lens variant with enhanced telephoto capability. Both share a 1-inch sensor, F1.8 aperture, variable focal length, and 10-bit color recording.

The Leica co-engineering marks a shift for Insta360, which has built its reputation primarily on 360-degree and action cameras. Partnering with Leica on a conventional form-factor camera positions the Luna Series directly in a segment occupied by Sony, DJI, and Canon — brands with established relationships with broadcast and cinema buyers at NAB.

Alongside the Luna cameras, Insta360 previewed the Mic Pro, a wireless microphone with an E-Ink display, AI noise reduction, and a Direct Connect feature for cable-free operation. The company also revealed a GO 3S Retro Bundle and stabilizer updates to the Flow 2 and Flow 2 Pro, adding multi-lens Android support, Dual View Mode, and Apple Watch control. The breadth of the NAB reveal — cameras, microphones, and stabilizers — signals Insta360 is presenting itself as a full production-kit supplier rather than a single-category device maker.
