ProVideo Coalition names Lightcraft Spark greatest innovation at NAB 2026
ProVideo Coalition's Alec C. Cohen published his Best In Show picks for NAB 2026, covering the full show run from a different vantage point than the engineering-panel-oriented TV Technology awards announced the same week.
Lightcraft Spark took the Greatest Innovation prize for its browser-based collaborative platform that combines AI, 3D pre-visualization tools, and production workflow capabilities in a single environment. The Grand Prize went to Adobe Color Mode in Premiere, which brings color grading directly into the edit timeline without requiring a separate specialist or round-trip to a dedicated grading application. Best Workflow Breakthrough went to Strada Connect, recognized for enabling direct-access remote storage that eliminates the upload-and-sync dependency common in cloud-based workflows.
Additional awards went to DJI Osmo 360 for Best Creative Empowerment Tool, Saramonic Air SE for Best Value Innovation, and Canon's Cine-Servo 40-1200mm for a Greatest Innovation honorable mention alongside Disguise GX3+. The ProVideo Coalition list skews toward production and post tools serving independent filmmakers and smaller studios alongside broadcast — a different constituency than the TV Technology Best of Show program, which is evaluated by broadcast engineers and weighted toward infrastructure and live production.
