Riedel ships HorizoN ST 2110 MultiViewer and two IP-native tools
Riedel Communications launched three products at NAB 2026 (booth C4908), all targeting native SMPTE ST 2110 workflows rather than SDI-to-IP bridge solutions.
The MediorNet HorizoN ST 2110 MultiViewer App runs as software on the HorizoN platform, handling up to 128 picture-in-picture windows across 16 heads in a single 1RU device. It combines ST 2110 video, audio, and ancillary data processing with NMOS-based control. The Commentary Control App is the fifth application for Riedel's 1200 Series Desktop SmartPanel, folding IP-native commentary workflows into the Artist-1024 intercom ecosystem so a single panel can simultaneously function as commentary solution, intercom panel, audio monitor, and control surface. The StageLink NSA-008A is a 1RU smart edge device supporting SMPTE ST 2110-30 and NMOS with six universal inputs and six universal outputs, handling microphone, line-level, and AES3 signals over a single network connection with integrated control for Artist and Bolero systems.
"Video, audio, and communications are no longer separate domains," said Jake Dodson, Executive Director Product Management at Riedel Communications. That framing captures the product line's direction: each of the three devices converges functions that have historically required separate hardware at the venue edge. The MultiViewer's 128-window capacity in 1RU is a meaningful density gain for facilities running parallel production paths or monitoring multiple IP feeds simultaneously.
