Triveni Digital StreamScope MT-70 targets Brazil's ISDB-Tb to TV 3.0 transition

Triveni Digital announced the StreamScope MT-70 at NAB Show 2026, an MPEG transport stream analyzer with new ISDB-Tb decoding built to address the dual-standard period Brazilian broadcasters are currently navigating. Brazil is running ISDB-Tb and TV 3.0 (DTV+) in parallel simulcast while the national transition progresses, requiring monitoring equipment capable of handling both standards without switching systems.

The MT-70 supports SBTVD ABNT NBR 15603 tables and descriptors and integrates with Triveni's StreamScope Enterprise centralized QA platform, allowing multi-site monitoring from a single management interface. The product is offered in rack-mount hardware, software-only, and cloud deployment configurations, giving broadcast operations flexibility on where monitoring workloads run.

President and CEO Mark Simpson described the product's positioning: "As Brazil transitions to TV 3.0, broadcasters need reliable, end-to-end visibility across both legacy and next-generation broadcast television services." Triveni is demonstrating the MT-70 at the ATSC Booth C1655 during the show. The Brazil transition is one of the largest ATSC 3.0-adjacent deployments globally and has become a recurring topic at NAB — the Global NextGen TV session on April 20 will bring Brazil's Communications Minister to the same stage as FCC Commissioner Olivia Trusty to discuss it directly.
