Atomos Sumo PRO-19 combines 4K monitor, recorder, and switcher for $2,899

Atomos is debuting the Sumo PRO-19 at NAB 2026, a 19-inch 4K HDR device that combines monitor, recorder, ISO switcher, and PTZ controller in a single unit priced at $2,899. Shipping begins May 2026. The Sumo PRO-19 records up to 8Kp30 via SDI and HDMI in ProRes, ProRes RAW, and Avid DNxHD formats and supports NDI HX3, AirGlu timecode sync, and dual XLR with phantom power. Direct cloud upload covers ATOMOSphere, Frame.io, and Dropbox.

The device consolidates hardware that production teams typically source from multiple vendors — reference monitor, ISO recorder, live switcher, and PTZ controller — into one chassis. The NDI HX3 and cloud upload integrations indicate Atomos is positioning the Sumo PRO-19 as compatible with both traditional broadcast SDI pipelines and IP-based remote production workflows.

Atomos also disclosed its acquisition of Flanders Scientific, a manufacturer of reference-grade broadcast monitors. The acquisition adds a higher-end hardware tier to Atomos's product portfolio, which has traditionally targeted independent and mid-market production. Together the new product and acquisition signal Atomos is moving further into professional broadcast infrastructure from its post-production origins.
