Grass Valley expands AMPP Alliance with 14 integrated partners at NAB
Grass Valley is using NAB 2026 to spotlight more than a dozen integrated third-party technologies in its AMPP (Agile Media Processing Platform) Alliance Partner ecosystem, framing the demonstrations around real-world live production challenges rather than standalone feature showcases.
The integrations span several production layers. Content creation examples include Telestream Vantage transcoding running inside Framelight X and Motion Impossible's Agito robotic camera paired with the LDX C180 camera. Infrastructure automation is covered by LayerCake provisioning and Cuez unified automation. IP connectivity integrations include NDI 6.3, Dante audio, TVU MediaMesh, and Zoom ISOcloud.
The strategy reflects a deliberate choice to build an open, partner-led platform rather than an all-proprietary stack. For broadcasters evaluating hybrid and cloud-native production, the demonstration offers a concrete look at how AMPP can reduce operational silos by letting vendors plug into a common orchestration layer. AI-Media is among the partners on the floor, adding automated captioning into the ecosystem alongside the production and connectivity integrations. The breadth of the partner list — spanning camera robotics, automation, transcoding, connectivity, and captioning — positions AMPP as a platform layer rather than a point product.
