Signiant adds Verify QC tool and previews Connected Intelligence platform
Signiant showcased four platform updates at NAB 2026 (booth W2131), headlined by two capabilities not previously part of the product.
Signiant Verify is a new validation layer that checks content submissions against technical and delivery specifications before they enter downstream workflows. The goal is to reduce manual QC steps and reprocessing overhead caused by files that fail validation only after entering the pipeline. Alongside Verify, the company introduced enhancements to Intelligent Transport for Media Shuttle, applying machine learning and multi-threaded architecture to optimize high-volume content movement. New IT administration capabilities provide centralized user management, permissions, and activity monitoring from the SaaS console.
The forward-looking announcement was Connected Intelligence, shown as a first preview. The initiative allows customers to connect their own AI models and media toolsets directly to the Signiant Platform, enabling multi-step workflows triggered by simple user prompts. CEO Sebastian Vos described the direction: "From Signiant Verify to our Connected Intelligence initiative, the Signiant Platform continues to accelerate content flow while simplifying how global teams collaborate and deliver media." The Connected Intelligence preview is notable because it frames Signiant as a platform layer connecting third-party AI tooling rather than building proprietary models — an approach that positions the company as infrastructure rather than a competing AI vendor.
